Service Description
You are invited to our First Friday Artist Showcase with Allison Smith, on Friday, September 4th, 2026, from 4:30pm-6:30pm. Allison Smith is a Geneseo, NY–based mixed-media sculptor whose work emerges straight from an overactive imagination and a deep belief in the transformative power of creation. Working primarily with Paper Clay, recycled materials, and found objects, Allison crafts whimsical, surreal, and emotionally resonant pieces—each completely one-of-a-kind and full of soul. Allison turned to sculpting a year ago as part of her personal healing journey, diving headfirst into the medium and building a full-time practice around her craft. Alignment with art-as-therapy is central to her work; every one-of-a-kind piece serves as a physical reflection of growth, vulnerability, alchemy and finding beauty in unexpected places.
