ABOUT THE EVENT
When words become art, and art begins to speak.
Every picture tells a story — and sometimes, every story wants a picture. In this workshop, you’ll play with the boundaries between image and language: crafting collages from childhood photos, magazine cutouts, forgotten letters, and found words.
Maybe you’ll pair a quote with an old photograph, write a letter to your younger self, or create a visual poem from snippets of text. Maybe you’ll even interview someone 10 years older or younger, capturing their story in words and pictures.
By the end, you’ll have a one-of-a-kind mixed-media piece that weaves memory, imagination, and emotion together — a little time capsule of your story in art form.
Bring your favorite images, words, and an open heart. We’ll supply the scissors, glue, and magic.
This workshop is an hour and a half and will be scheduled once enough interest is generated by pre-registration.
