Healing doesn’t have to start with words. Sometimes, it begins with a brushstroke, a game, or the courage to imagine something new.

I’m Lizzy, a trauma-informed Art Therapist and certified Therapeutic Game Master. I help individuals explore healing in creative, non-traditional ways, especially those who may feel unseen in traditional therapy spaces. My work is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves access to mental health support that feels safe, culturally relevant, and attuned to their unique needs and stories.

I specialize in working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, eating disorders, sexual trauma, and identity exploration. Many of my clients are highly sensitive, deeply creative, or have had difficulty connecting through talk therapy alone. For them, expressive arts can be a powerful tool for insight, release, and transformation.

My practice blends person-centered and narrative therapy approaches with art-making, play, and storytelling. As a certified Therapeutic Game Master, I use elements of role-play and guided imagination to help clients build self-awareness, explore new perspectives, and process experiences that are hard to articulate in words.

Coming from a diverse background myself, I’m especially passionate about serving historically marginalized communities—including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and immigrant populations—who often face systemic barriers to care. I strive to create an inclusive space that honors each client’s lived experience, culture, and strengths. Through culturally responsive art therapy, we explore not only personal healing but also how identity, community, and resilience intersect.

Above all, I view therapy as a collaborative journey. I don’t position myself as the expert of your story -- you are. My role is to walk beside you, offering creative tools and compassionate presence as you reconnect with your voice, your power, and your path forward.

Whether you’re looking to explore your identity, move through trauma, or simply reconnect with yourself in a more meaningful way, I’m here to support you with empathy, imagination, and respect.
