Erin Larramendi, LCAT

I believe therapy is both a relationship and a creative process—one that can open new possibilities when words alone are not enough. I am a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist with over 18 years of experience specializing in trauma and supporting clients through periods of challenge, transition, and growth.

My approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and grounded in genuine human connection. I use creative arts thoughtfully and flexibly, adapting my approach to each client’s needs, strengths, and comfort level. Creativity can provide a different language for exploring emotions, experiences, and relationships, while offering opportunities for insight, expression, and healing. I also believe there is room for appropriate humor in therapy and that moments of lightness can coexist with meaningful, difficult work.

I am a graduate of Nazareth College and grew up in a small town in Upstate New York. My experiences and travels have shaped my appreciation for diverse perspectives and the uniqueness of each person’s story.
My goal is to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and free to explore who they are and what they need—with creativity, compassion, and authenticity guiding the process.
